Antarctic penguins are amazing creatures. They have adapted to living in one of the harshest environments on the planet and are great Ambassadors for Antarctica. But because of melting sea ice from climate change and industrial fishing for their favorite food — Antarctic krill — these iconic species are facing unprecedented threats. Penguin colonies are finding it harder and harder to find enough krill to survive.
You can be part of the solution! Submit a photo of yourself using the form below to become part of an international photo mosaic of a penguin. This mosaic will be delivered to delegates from 25 nations when they meet to decide on how to manage the krill fishery.
You must crop your photo before you can send it. Crop the image by dragging and dropping the shaded box.
Photos can also be sent to action@krillcount.org along with your name and email to be included in the mosaic. Read the FAQ.
